All of us have always felt a little clumsy and painful and weird and different inside I guess. Or that we’re all alone in the world. And when other people treat us with utmost hate or injustice, that comes up. And there are and will always be storms we cannot weather. 1/

When you come to witness that kind of dishonesty or extreme cruelty, or wonder if someone has a heart at all, I frankly believe the answer is not in the blame but acting towards something better from your own part.
Cause all you can do is to CHOOSE KIND. 2/

And hopefully, definitely maybe that's gonna make everything better. We can only act for ourselves, and we can only try and respond to other people's hatred with compassion if we're looking for an outcome that makes any sense. 3/

Love trumps hate. Kindness trumps the shitty & the ugly. Always. Perhaps a little naive, but matters throughout. Make the conscious choice to focus on the good. Make today about love & kindness. 4/4
