also as mentioned in the thread objectively rich people who went to an insanely good school and have a massive house hiding behind the guise of the very broad label of middle class will never not be funny to me

i can tell you from experience of living in both a lower middle class and “regular” middle class family that being a normal middle class person does not mean having a massive expensive house/condo in a notoriously wealthy area. these same people will posture about admitting your

privilege and then won’t own up to the fact that they are leagues above what anyone else in any normal universe would consider middle class lol

we all have the privilege of not struggling for money but some people don’t struggle a far sight more than others which they don’t particularly care to admit
