This may be gross but I HAVE to share, it's the cutest thing that's happened in my life

so I mentioned snails sometimes get into our house & leave w/o a trace, and once I found a trail on my headphones

well it came back and ate the dead skin cells inside my headphones???? ;o;

I hadn't cleaned off the insides of the earmuff thingies on them in a while and I left them on the floor again by accident tonight, and this morning I found a snail trail on one of them and it was all clean inside while the other one still looks dirty and bad

My poor little heart just MELTS because I can tell I accidentally gave this little sneaky snail a snack!! I still DO NOT understand how in the world they get in our completely sealed house and then just dip, but I guess they come for a reason? at least it did this time

There's just something that makes me feel so honoured that some part of my body that I don't need is appreciated by some other creature, like yeah bitch I DO have a place on this earth that benefits others thank you snail for validating me

There's a good chance this thread makes me look completely bonkers insane but I love bugs and snails and I will not apologise ever

Apparently it IS a thing that slugs can squeeze through the TINIEST cracks so that must be what's happening! I should've probably realised it's not a snail because they can't really compress their big ol' house, but a slug could probably get in here somehow

Searching the web for this and coming across articles that are like "how to get these DISGUSTING vile FUCKERS out of your house >:(" and I'm like no... they can come... it's ok...! they probably like it!!!!
