Wouldn& #39;t it be so weird if there was like a broken washing machine that only properly washed some of the clothes, and then people wanted to fix it, but other people got mad because it doesn& #39;t wash all clothes bad? Like "don& #39;t fix it because sometimes it works"
This is kind of a bad analogy for the issue with Police, but only because it makes it seem like the system is directly making the wrong doing at random instead of it allowing those inside the system to do bad things and get away with them and continue to do them in the future
The idea that people will defend something and not want to fix a major flaw with it because it doesn& #39;t directly result in EVERYONE involved acting poorly even though the flaw allows for the ones who will act poorly to act poorly over and over
The goal should be to make it so that the "bad apples" (which there are a lot of, especially with the fact that many "good apples" have lost their jobs trying to stop the bad ones) aren& #39;t able to be bad and get away with it.
To have a problem with that is just stupid and/or oblivious to what is going on in the world around you.
Anyways... Saw someone try and say something related to the idea of "one bad apple" and the police situation. So that lead me to making this thread, even though no one& #39;s gonna read it. Idrk if it makes sense either, but
