-gets a lot of money as rewards, but it also means their child lost memories forever and never returned. Eugeo abandoned IK identity & killed Admin, ofc he can't send his family money and he can't return home as nobody'll welcome him. Kirito said Asuna also dealt w family problem
Clearly he thinks Eugeo should talk it out with his family, but Eugeo sees it's difficult for him and wanna wait for some years. Kirito realized he's rude for touching a sensitive matter so he postponed it.
It's sad to see Eugeo saying that he feels doesn't belong to his home & village ;_;
Well, Eugeo basically answered Kirito's inner question. To him home is where Kirito is.

Anyway, he kinda loathed them for abandoning Alice to death even if they knew that. After he left he realized himself "Just sitting and praying don't get you anywhere"

Despite his hometown not treating Eugeo very warmly, his big heart still wants to protect the people ;_; so they went on a quest to save it from deadly coldness
It also reminds him of everything he learned and went through, so all hardships he bears aren't in vain ;_;
I'm happy Eugeo is alive in this timeline for us to have beautiful lines like these

Now I hope in the future gameverse will add DLC quest for Eugeo to come home and resolve his matters with his family. I hope they don't just bring this up and leave this hanging.
