Bartomeu: "The VAR is a very powerful tool, but in the same or similar situations they have had different outcomes in different games."

Bartomeu: "I have an excellent relationship with Xavi and we talk about many topics. But next season Quique Setién has a contract and we trust in him."

Bartomeu: "The coaching staff must communicate with the players, exchange opinions and reflections and this unites the group."

Bartomeu: "Messi is a player who's very ambitious, he wants to win."

Bartomeu: "This team is very competitive."

Bartomeu: "Dembélé will surprise at Barça in a season with no injuries. He's had real bad luck."

Bartomeu: "The coaches mostly decide who we sign, not us."

Bartomeu: "Messi has said many times that he wants to retire here and I have no doubt that he will renew."

Bartomeu: "Ter Stegen's renewal is among our priorities right now. Not only for his quality as a goalkeeper but for his personality as a player, his way of being. He's an example for everyone in the dressing room."

Bartomeu: "Suárez has a contract that, depending on the number of games he plays, automatically renews for the 2021-22 season."

Bartomeu: "Yes, we have spoken to Inter Milan for Martínez, but negotiations are parked right now."

Bartomeu: "We already have seven new signings. Pedri, Trincão, Fernandes, Pjanić, Araujo, Fati and Riqui."

Bartomeu: "Peña trains continuously with the first team and he has a future at Barça."
