On no account should you deliberately set another tweep up for harassment & vitriol. You are abusing the responsibility that comes with the influence you have. That in itself is a sign of character deficiency. You prefer mob hysteria to engaging fair & square.

It is a sad reality that a horde dwell on this app with no other purpose than hurling insults & vitriol in whichever direction they are manipulated to. Without cause or reason. Deliberately activating this horde against another in a disagreement is a condemnable low.

Those of us with a modicum of large following here have a responsibility to, as much as possible, desist from dog-whistling and bush-burning. Social media should be used for social good. Not social bullying and harassment.

Let us call out bad behaviour when we see it whether or not our faves are involved. Only then, perhaps, will they have pause. We are not all haters or enemies. Some of us simply want a decent society online or offline & the responsibility for building one starts with us all.

You do not necessarily have to be liked by all. It's not possible. But can you at least make an attempt to just be a decent human being? For yourself and for the society we all have to live in. It is the barest minimum aspiration for the greater good.
