Small thread: “T1 does so many ads, this is why **** left, T1 gets no practice, T1 does too many streams too.”
1. Whoever left: this is their personal choice. SKT/T1 may simply just not be a good fit for them. They may have had goals that were not in line with the organisation. This is League, there are many players who are signed to each organisation for only a year.
A clear example is my very own favourite Han Peanut Wangho, who has been moving from organisation to organisation. A look at his records will tell you this.
2. About collabs/endorsements/advertisements etc

- TEAMS USUALLY HAVE SPONSORS.
- Example: Gen G has its collab with hansung motors. Go watch it on youtube, I have provided the link. I used to be a Gen G fan because of Peanut ^^ I know Gen G very well
If you want sponsors/partners/funding, you need to give back in some way. Do you think people randomly decide to invest with no returns? Would YOU sponsor someone if you would receive zero benefits back?
3. “Nike stuff is a waste of time, why do esports players need to exercise? They sit in front of the computer all day.”

- A quick search will tell you that many esports players have wrist injuries, shoulder injuries, back injuries etc.
I am no health instructor, but I think it is beneficial to do some stretching.
To me, it is the same for desk-bound office workers. Why do you all exercise if your job requires you to sit in front of the computer and type? You might as well not do exercise since your job doesn’t require you to be fit. Who cares about correcting your back posture?
4. “SKT/T1 has strict streaming schedules. They even give a specific time and date.”

- Yes, there are specific times and dates.
- This is not only applicable to just T1. Again, a simple search on Twitter will inform you that other League organisations do the same thing.
Here you go:

One of Hanwha Life Esports’s streaming schedule

Streaming for long hours is something other players from other organisations do too

- There have been occasions where people like TEDDY was playing in soloq but just didn’t turn their stream on even though they were supposed to.
- T1 and even SKT have always cancelled streams when there are issues that arise. I don’t know why some people don’t know this.
Ta dah! Here you go, an old SKT twitch stream that previously got cancelled. This is not something new. Streams have been cancelled before and will be cancelled if there are issues that arise.

“Players can’t change streaming times, they always have to stream starting from that specific time.”

Teddy and Effort were LATE for streaming. If T1 streaming schedules are that strict, do you think they would do this?

Also: streaming is the same thing as them playing in soloq till wee hours of the morning. The only difference is that you get to watch them on twitch since their cameras are on. They are still playing League, maybe with some games in between while waiting for queue.
IT IS THE SAME THING AS YOU WATCHING THEM ON TWITCH CHANNELS THAT TRACK LEAGUE OF LEGENDS PROS. T1 MEMBERS DO PLAY WITHOUT SWITCHING ON THEIR STREAM CAMERAS. AND MANY PEOPLE WATCH THEM ON CHANNELS THAT TRACK PROS. THEY ARE STILL IN SOLOQ REGARDLESS OF WHETHER THE CAMERA IS ON.
“This is why **** left, T1 does streamings, no time to practice.”

MOST LEAGUE ORGS MAKE YOU STREAM. THIS IS NOT STH NEW. https://twitter.com/geng_kr/status/1268380511199617024
5. “T1 spends so much time making YouTube contents.”

GenG does YouTube as well. Did you know? I know very well that they do YouTube contents too, because I was a fan of Gen G in 2019 only because of Peanut. Here is a link to a YouTube video (2020):
https://twitter.com/geng_kr/status/1253677575320137728?s=21 https://twitter.com/geng_kr/status/1253677575320137728
Gen G’s YouTube video on the League players being at Han Sung Motor’s showroom
Gen G’s YouTube video on their daily lives. Many of you have said T1 members “waste” time filming YouTube videos. I am showing you evidence that other organisations do YouTube video shootings as well.
Just in case you all think I keep pointing out only Gen G videos because they are the only organisation to do YouTube as well, this is NOT true. Hanwha Life Esports also does YouTube videos:
I will stop my thread fow now until I find something else to add, but I do NOT want to see any dumb complaints that T1 are wasting time. Do you think money falls from the sky? Do you know how expensive it is to live in Gangnam, do renovations, pay for players’ food, pay bills?
Conclusion for now:
The point of my thread is to point out that Gen G/HLE/DRX do streamings and endorsements, and they also have specific streaming times+dates just like how T1 does. Thus, it is the norm to have streaming & filming. It is not just T1 who does it.
IT IS NOT JUST T1 THAT HAS STREAMING SCHEDULES. IT IS NOT JUST T1 THAT DOES PHOTOSHOOTS AND ENDORSEMENTS AND ADVERTISEMENTS. OTHER ORGANISATIONS DO IT AS WELL. I am showing you all the evidence clearly.
You can follow @t1effort.
