a lot of people assossicate selena’s fans with her. a bunch of fandoms have bad apples that do nothing but just spread hate. selena’s fans are NO excuse for sending immense amount of hate to her. she has said mutiple times that kindness is always the answer and she will not stand

- for her fans to bring down other artist. ofc her stans didn’t listen and continue to do it which is understandable. a lot of other fandoms drag selena because she’s an easy target and her stans have to defend her right? so it’s necessary for them to defend her.

but what is really confusing is that other fandoms are even MORE toxic than selena’s fandom yet selena gets more hate? that doesn’t sit right with me. arianators for example. i see a bunch of them making jokes about selena’s kindey or hoping she d words from her lupus. and it’s-

not even just selena! they also body shame taylor by calling her “tayble”. it’s really fucking disgusting yet ariana gets zero hate for her fans? it’s because ariana’s more successful than selena and selena has less fans than ariana does which, again, makes selena an easy target.

anyways, this thread is in no way to victimize selenators. they have their own share of problematic accounts & tweets. it just doesn’t make sense to send so much hate to her because of her fans when she’s always been uplifting of other artist many times!
