Welcome to my object universe: Cold based objects- like ice, snow, snow toys and snow clothes have paws to keep traction on the ice and to stay on top of snow and are strictly carnivorous, and have sharp teeth

Earth based objects like rocks, dirt, ores and precious metals live deep underground in tunnels and have excellent night vision, love sugar and are generally very sleepy objects, some having mole-like claws for digging and even tri-jaws (whatever those are called)

Gemstones and other crystals share colonies with earth objects, but live closer to the surface in caves on mountains and love the sun, as it makes them sparkle and they love sunbathing, and they also have hooves like goats to easily scale cliffs and rocks-

-and they go deep underground to have their babies, and the gem babies stay underground until they’re old enough to venture outside

Obviously the earth objects are very strong!
Water objects like coral, shells, water plants, beach toys and attire are very comfortable just being in water, and the coral, shells and plants can breathe underwater as well as above water!-

-they can see in the dark and communicate with bubbles, some secreting fins that can unfold when they swim
They have webbed toes and if they have arms, webbed fingers, and the beach toys and attire can’t breathe underwater but can still hold their breath for up to an hour

Plant objects- photosynthesize and eat biomatter and don’t care about how things taste. They’re generally very lazy objects and have no ability to feel compassion. They find sympathy an alien concept and think love is just an instinct to pass on genetics-

and if one of them were to die, they would be generally unfazed (OMZ I killed her! Oh well) and would just see it as more biomatter to eat. They’re generally very narcissistic. Plant objects will have tens of seeds- which they just scatter around-

-and have no intention of taking care of their young, leaving the seeds to “hatch” into baby plants and fend for themselves their entire life, and most of them don’t make it to adulthood. They can still learn how to feel compassion and such- but it’s hard!

(Think of Leafy trying so hard to be nice and overreacting, and calling herself super nice, and Flower being a narcissistic jerk but slowly turning into a better person and understanding feelings over time)

Fire based objects- obviously- drink gasoline and oil and like eating coal and wood and other flammable items- and since they set fire to almost everything they touch, they have no access to books and most of them are illiterate (Firey can’t read lol)

Plant objects also drink a special tea made from poisonous flowers and berries and venoms, and it keeps bugs and animals from snacking on them as it makes them become poisonous

Food and drink objects also do the same to make themselves poisonous! So bugs, animals and, since the object world is full of VORE for some reason, objects, don’t try snacking on them

That’s all I have for this thread for now- I’ll update it when I get more ideas on other types of objects

Oh wait more-
Since food objects are generally preyed on by other objects and animals, they have claws they can use for self defence- and also have a very fast reaction time
