an important thread on how to larry without larrying:
first of all: i’m making this thread because i keep seeing posts about “how i would react if larry started talking publicly” and i wanted to share my thoughts on how i think you should be acting in general while shipping people.
1. do not post about rumours without proof. i always see tweets like “elounor broke up” or “larry was seen together in a car” and then 40 people are saying the same thing on the tl.+
if there aren’t pictures or quotes from direct sources please assume rumours are false.
2. refrain from hyperanalyzing every interaction, post, tweet, comment, or like from anyone involved with the ship. not everything means something, and this has resulted in+
harry and louis not being able to follow each other or interact at all without scrutinization.
3. DON’T BLUEGREEN. keep your ship out of the comments on harry and louis’ posts. these comments are unwarranted and annoying. ex:
4: stay away from manips (other than joke ones lmfao. ex: HOBAMA) because overall i find that kind of creepy and again, sexualizes harry, louis, and their relationship.
so now that i’ve shared my thoughts on how to not be annoying or toxic in the way that you ship larry; here is how to ship/stay up to date/talk to other larries:
1: join a groupchat/list centered around larry proof. it keeps speculation in the dm’s and makes everything more private for harry and louis.(it’s also much easier than posting about something and having to explain over and over)
2: reflecting on past proofs that have evidence or are on video. i find less of a problem with someone posting a cute clip than i do with someone starting a rumour or directly messaging/asking the boys about larry. ex: video diaries!!
overall: i think the way twitter has been publicizing this ship has been accepted for way too long. i might get shit for this but i wouldn’t want every detail of my relationship analyzed either. :)
and again: i’m not an anti, (refer to pfp) i just see some larries actions as disrespectful and wanted to educate a lil bit
