While I really want to be optimistic about a potentially new full Lovelyz album, the fact that the girls themselves don't know when their comeback will be is pretty worrisome :/
I don't remember if it was like this with R U Ready? but there seems to be no preparations in place...like I miss when Lovelyz's concept felt more thoughtfully planned out
In the end, I'll accept whatever they decide to release, but I really hope the album doesn't have a half-baked concept + songs obviously collected in less than a month like Once Upon a Time
I'm still angry about that btw, because with a name like Once Upon a Time, Woollim could have gone with an elegant, regal theme and they didn't!!!
Maybe it wouldn't have fit the season, but c'mon...Lovelyz as the princesses they are turned queens, something fairytale-like and enchanting
They have all the time now, so Woollim better be working on Lovelyz's album like mad...and please, a return to Yoon Sang and 1Piece in general
I know Woollim lost interest in Lovelyz after 2017, and it's true they have a business to run, but Lovelyz only have a year left in their contracts...
Contract renewals are a whole different matter though. Does anyone remember the prologue films Lovelyz used to have before each comeback? They stopped making them in 2018, but I used to love watching them
Anyways, that's when I knew Woollim was not as invested in Lovelyz anymore. Heal had one less song than every mini album before it, same with Once Upon a Time...not to be bitter, but those were my least favorite comebacks
And the whole Makestar thing too, which was by itself suspicious. Is Woollim losing money? Is it because Infinite are in the army? Or are they focusing on other groups?
This isn't a knock against Golden Child or Rocket Punch by the way, I love them both...this thread is getting off track so I'll end it here
