A few things from our first day back @WaltDisneyWorld.
1) parking lot is rough. Not everyone wears masks since they aren’t technically in the park.
2) Walking is the weakest part of physical distancing, especially in parking lot and near popular attractions/ food

3) Alcohol absolutely is the problem. It lowers your guard, it weakens your immune system. Epcot can be concerning as the day goes on and people drink. Be aware.
4) Saw a few guests who did the chin mask BS, and the dick nose BS, and the “I’m walking and drinking” BS. BUT, it was maybe 10-15 people which is NOTHING in the grand scheme.
5) Did not go inside except for one drive by merchandise shop looking for something specific and the World Showplace building and someone sneezed openly and I GTFO right away nope nope nope.
6) Doing outside stuff only in summer with masks on was not easy. It wasn’t AWFUL, but goodness I cannot stand summer in my home state. Thank goodness we could take a midday break.
7) What else? Yeah so plenty of moments where we had no one around us. And plenty of moments when I got uncomfortable and stopped and pulled to the side so a gaggle of sociaable people could go by.
8) this is not a perfect setting. This is risky. You must be diligent about your actions. You must be a “defensive driver”. We feel safe but it is not carefree.
9) Character calvacades Fiveever!!!! Best best best thing!!!
10) Been writing about the parks while the glorious team @TouringPlans snaps pics for weeks and weeks. I am so thankful, helped me set the expectations and I hope this thread helps. OH! Hand sanitizer and hand washing availability did not meet my expectations so glad I had my own
