I’m struggling w/this. This isn’t the first time Rep. Yoho does something that is problematic. He opposed the Emett Till’s anti-lynching act, he refuses to wear a face mask, he has a 0 rating from the human rights campaign, he has compared carrying a gun to carrying a phone. But this statement makes it sound like he just did something inappropriate today, @bread4theworld talked to him, and they decided it’s best for him to resign. The phrase “...as reported by the media” even makes it sound like it’s not what he did, but what was reported. (2)
Let me ask @EugeneCho directly and clearly. Do you believe @RepTedYoho’s behavior toward Rep. @AOC was unacceptable? Do you believe it was rooted in misogyny and racism? Do you condemn his words toward her and subsequent non-apology and words at Fox?
(3)
The statement speaks of Bread thanking him for his transparency, which feels really tactless considering he lied about saying what he said to Rep. @AOC. Do you believe he said what he said?

(4)
Because while the statement isn’t clear enough for me on where @bread4theworld stands in all of this, your statement is even more vague.
