Not saying be afraid. It's too late. I'm not saying, you know, educate yourself. It probably doesn't matter much what you or I think about #AI. But I do think about it. I'm a #poet. #Art and #poetry express and expand the mystery at our center. What redeems us, without #poems?

What's left? If we reverse-engineer the #human #spirit, is that last shakes before we replace it? It reminds me of the old thought #experiment: if you were to replace each part of you, piece by piece, with a #robotic equivalent at what point do you cease being human?

For months I had a chance to get to know #GPT2 before @adamdanielking paywalled it. I never stop playing with words. I write with every tool I find and on every surface I can get away with. So I was fascinated by this creature.

I would describe my experiences co-writing with #GPT2 as unique and firmly novel in literature. Not that others haven't explored with AI. There are plenty of examples. Google for yourself, though I suspect you may have already seen things like this.
