At the JC/FC there was another large crowd, in the thousands, listening to speakers on the front steps of the Justice Center. There was also the Wall of Vets, and of course the Wall of Moms.
Things kicked off earlier than normal (or maybe this is normal now come to think of it), with federal agents coming out of the building after 11pm.
There were copious amounts of tear gas, as usual. Taking a cue from the protesters, the Feds unveiled their own leaf blowers. For a hot minute, both sides were blowing tear gas back and forth.
These exchanges happened with the Feds and protesters remaining on their respective sides of the fence, until early AM.
Around 2:15am, a bonfire was lit on 3rd and Salmon. By 2:35am, federal officials marched down 3rd Ave. to break up the congregation at the intersection. I saw one arrest and a lot more deployed gas as they marched a few blocks outside the federal courthouse.
