Bethesda has been lazy and not doing anything in the mainline elder scrolls series since 2012 when they finished Skyrim's Dlc obsidian has seized the moment and filled a hole that Bethesda has been ignoring for almost a decade. Beth has made some fun spin offs in ES I guess...🤷‍♀️
It's like they don't care they just ported Skyrim 4 times and acted like they did something groundbreaking with it they've been working on fallout. Fallout 4 was worse story wise than 76 and that's saying alot. 76 didn't have any NPCs that you could dialogue with for over a year
Blades is a good game but small without little to no true exploration the dungeons are literally the same almost everytime.
The card game had a good storyline and was supposed to teach us about the first grate war but they pulled the plug on support like clockwork when Bethesda actually does something different and innovative they pull the plug on it
This further brings me to the Skyrim problem. Skyrim factually has a smaller map. Factually has less weapons. Factually has less magic. Factually has less dlc. Why port your factually less game and call it a remaster when your fanbase hasn't played all your previous games ?
Literally the common sense thing to do it you want to remaster a game is actually remaster it. Don't just port it to the Xbox one with new lighting effects and then port that version to 3 other platforms.
But we're supposed to praise you for shorting us because you added muh mooooooodsssssss oOoOO wow you added a basic game feature that makes people make content and bug fixes that your too lazy to fix in your " remaster"
Let's also not forget that you added the creation club which is basically mods you bought form outside devs that you are now charging for through a micro transaction system. Why not use the creation club to fund the major mod projects like remasters and overhauls
You know so people on console can get them and they can actually get the funding they need to develop it. It's a clear common sense win win that you don't care about
The fact this thread didn't explode shows fans complacency as I look back on it in retrospect
