People saying they won't rest until they get more recognition for like middle grade and such .. yet I'm sorry but there's so many middle grade WITH disabilities, and when a prompt came up, you couldn't give a rec except for 'wonder'.. so you don't read disabled books

How about you do better AND read books with disabilities in MG, YA, Adult? And support disabled Booktubers, bloggers AND bookstagrammers! But you don't and we have to work 100x more harder and don't get recognised AT ALL

Also the awards thing tonight, how many winners were POC/Black/Disabled?

I'm not talking about one person in particular, it's what I've been seeing for years now and it really fucking hurts and insults me seeing us get no recognition at all and sadly a lot of popular bookish people haven't read a disabled book or enough of it...

If you need me to clarify things further then I'm happy to do so via PMs because quite frankly I've noticed people always misunderstand me and I get the blame for it. Therefore showing the lack of understanding towards disabled people
