Christian mom influencers (who all listen to me!): This is your moment. Not to encourage despair, but to preach encouragement to women feeling daunted by the coming months of school at home. Children have become political pawns and there is no ideal solution.

Who would blame them for feeling that nobody wants them? Teachers don’t want to be in school (understandably!) and their moms, apparently, don’t want them at home. This is your chance to remind moms that kids are their neighbors, and the least of these.

We follow someone who said “Suffer the little children to come into me.” This is our chance to apply it, joyfully and thoroughly and literally. Let’s welcome our children home.
