so often under the context of “judgement” with Christians we associate it with their fruits, although fruit is important; i find it interesting that when Jesus is giving the great commission in Mark 16; he says these SIGNS shall follow those that believe & doesn’t mention fruits.
this isn’t to dismiss the importance of fruits but rather bring light to a reality that Jesus expects his church to shows SIGNS of his power.
why is the great commission emphasized & pushed under the umbrella of evangelism, but the SIGNS are not emphasized?

offend anyone, but we NEED signs in our churches.
WHY? because biblically; it shows the kingdom has come. (how can we be prepared for the false signs of the last days if we are not familiar with the true signs?)
some might say, i don’t have certain signs.

although, that may be true; God baptized us with the Holy Ghost, so we all have something to offer the body of Christ.
although, some Christians God has allowed to walk in gifts more heavily than others because of calling, assignment, & obedience.

that’s why God created us as a body to work together in the KINGDOM not just positions within the physical church to keep it operating well, although that’s important too.
its important we desire all of God. not just the parts that makes us feel most comfortable or less controversial.
why isn’t the signs just as important as fruits; they should go hand in hand.
why we don’t hold churches accountable for not being able that shows SIGNS or at least collaborate with other believers who preach sound doctrine to come in & bring the KINGDOM in demonstration—

this is not a contest. this isn’t about seeing who has the gift of healing or who don’t. or who evangelize the most. it’s just about pleasing God & we all can heal people through the power of the Holy Ghost. & we all should evangelize.
but everybody isn’t an—

SIGNS of the Holy Ghost.
unfortunately, there will be ppl who use these GIFTS in the wrong spirit as well as pastor preaching with the wrong motive, but we still as a body should pray that the KINGDOM of God come.
in short, that just means the SIGNS of his presence & power.
