JK Rowling is not ok. She’s completely taken on phrasing and tone of a wild-eyed conspiracy theorist. Her rant today gave me the same feeling anti-vaxxers give me, the same feeling Alex Jones gives me. Shes rapidly accelerating down the rabbit hole, chasing trans people’s demise.

Best to remember JKR is NOT an expert in anything, especially trans people.

That’s all that really matters.

She’s appealing to her celebrity as authority. She is weaponizing ignorance of trans people against me, to harm me, to take my rights, to make my life harder to live.

I always thought I’d end up in science books, but not like this.

I also noticed after 6 hours her first tweet only has 6,700ish likes. This is a considerably lower rate that goes down with each rant, a good sign.

New phenomenon:

Today is one of the worst days of my life. I’ve spent most of the day wailing on the floor or in my bed over my kids moving 800 miles away. When I read her rant, it multiplied that anguish and despair immediately. Her ruthless assaults push vulnerable trans ppl to darker places.
