Firstly I’ve created a formation that perfectly counters Wolves’ 523 by creating a central overload. I’ve chosen each player extremely carefully considering Wolves’ strengths and weaknesses.

Kante has all the right attributes to be converted into a full back as you can see in the images below.

I’ve also specifically chosen to deploy a pivot of Azpilicueta and Willian.

I have been considering Willian as a DM for a while and I feel he’s a better defender than he is an attacker, I feel I could transition him into T3 DMs in the world.

As you can see Hudson Odoi and Reece James get a green link with each other meaning they will be able to combine nicely down the right.

Alonso has all the attributes to become a complete forward and i’m surprised no manager he’s tested this before can see in the detailed stats below, Marcos Alonso is already a complete forward and is probably already one of the best wingers in world football.

A trio of RLC, Giroud and Pulisic in the attacking third will be one of the deadliest and most efficient in world football. A world cup winner, a Premier League winner and a generational talent. What more do you need in attack?

One defender and a youth gk because we can’t defend anyway... This will confuse Wolves giving them false hope and I would rather us try and outscore them. If Lampard sees this don’t be surprised if he uses these tactics himself - this will get us over the line for top four.
