Trying to explain to my 11yo that she can’t go hang out with a group of 5 kids right now even though the other parents are allowing their kids to go over is not fun.
Like, she hates me rn. They all do. They just want to socialize because they haven’t in months and it’s summer break. They just need to get away from their mom and that’s normal.
We’ve figured out 4 pod families with kids they can hang out with. But other than that
