If no ND creators are being nominated, consider why - we’re not always as social so we may not be as exposed. Most of us interact with other ND creators. I’m not saying just throw someone in the long list in every category, but LOOK at ND creators and ask if they fit a category

FIND US. Put the effort in to seek us out. We exist, and not in small numbers. We are here.

So many people seem to think because they “supported” (I use that term loosely bc I see nothing on my TL from a lot of them) these days) BLM and have included Black creators in their subscription boxes that they’re diverse enough. You’re not. It’s not just race.

I know it’s a futile point because people argued about having the “energy” to support Black creators along side white ones so asking them to include disabled and neurodiverse from a number of races and backgrounds is laughable

Supporting Black creators also means supporting disabled Black creators.

Idk this started off as me being annoyed for the ND community as a whole but I just got pissed again at how the BLM support has vanished and I don’t want this thread to take away from that.

TL;DR SUPPORT BLACK LIVES. And that means ALL BLACK LIVES - the neurodiverse/disabled ones too.
