bts have the best selling album in JAPAN right now with their JAPANESE album that was promoted in JAPAN with songs doing well GLOBALLY but apparently something “went wrong” with it just bc of its charting in America...

Not everything is about America. Success in America is not the deciding factor of what makes something successful. But let’s not even mention how fcking cool it is that a Japanese album by a Korean group charted on BB to begin with. Whoever wrote that article... no.

Adding: in journalism, in anything really, context is important before making outrageous/misleading claims.. you’ll find that once you add the proper context, your claim may actually be entirely false. Tired of shoddy journalism esp from music journos.
