Look, I want pro women's football in Canada ASAP as well, but I can't get behind @NWSLToronto @NWSLVancouver or @NWSLMontreal because it would be selling out Canada's pro team potential to a yank league just like we did with the three MLS clubs.
We need to control our own pro pathway without having to work around whatever bullshit the NWSL will most likely impose as MLS has and still does.

Perhaps the NWSL makes things totally equal. That would be a pleasant surprise.
Still, should we risk affecting the viability of our own Canadian pro women's league down the road to getting one of more teams in the NWSL now? Because it will create unintended roadblocks to creating our own league.
