I monitor lineups out of habit now and the trends are so intriguing but it’s too much to make notes or a thread daily.

Early season trends are important and I want to share my thoughts. So here’s day 2 of my lineup takeaway!

#FantasyBaseball

#Brewers
-2nd day facing a RHP & Sogard leading off again.
-Cain in the 7-hole. Second straight day at bottom VS RHP.
-Yelich at DH giving Braun the day off already. Could be off more than anticipated.

#Cubs
-Wilson Contreras DH to keep his bat in the lineup.
-Caratini in at C..

This should keep his bat in the lineup regularly between C & DH. Boost in value for 2-Catcher leagues.
-Kipnis is in & Hoerner is out. Just as quick as I gained excitement for Hoerner, it’s now lost

#Orioles
-Austin Hays leading off vs RHP & now LHP. Appears locked in at leadoff

-Alberto batting 2nd vs LHP. They showed this in summer camp.
-Jose Iglesias is the 3-hole hitter for the Orioles.
-Santander batting cleanup vs LHP and Renato Nunez bumped to 5th.

#RedSox
-Pillar is out vs RHP and Verdugo is in. Both play RF. This is a platoon with Verdugo...

On the strong side of it.
-Peraza bumped up the 5-spot vs RHP
-Mitch Moreland will be a regular middle of the order presences vs RHP.
-JD Martinez sticking to the 2-hole.
-Bogaerts is out of the lineup.
-Chavis is out. He appears to be a LHP platoon type. Droppable.

#Twins
-Facing a LHP, they trot out a different lineup.
- Garver leading off. Great for a catcher’s value.
-Max Kepler starts but bats 8th.
-Sano moves up to the 5-hole.
-Polanco remains a mainstay in the middle of the lineup.

#WhiteSox
-Essentially same lineup as yesterday

-Grandal getting the game off. Instead of moving Robert to the 6-spot, they leave him in the 7-hole. Moving up Delmonico to 6th.

#Cardinals
- Essentially same lineup 2 days in a row.
- Appears Edman is locked into 3B and Carpenter as DH. Edman batting 2nd is fantastic.

#Rays
-Rays doing Rays things. They trot out a completely different lineup for RHP
-Ji-Man Choi leading off!
-Tsutsugo remains in the middle of the lineup and batting cleanup.
-B. Lowe is in and batting 2nd.
-Yandy Diaz playing in both lineups and batting 3rd today.
Could ...

Play daily and hit top of lineup in both.
-Hunter Renfro out. Likely a LHP platoon

#Pirates
-Also a similar lineup 2 straight days. Not much of note.
-Jarrod Dyson is out. I expected daily PT. Without playing daily, he’s tough to roster. Even for the SB needy teams.

#Rangers
-Will Calhoun is back and batting 7th.
-His return bumped Solak out the lineup.
Otherwise similar lineup as yesterday.

#Astros
-Kyle Tucker is being given a chance to play! This is likely due to Diaz injury. Also, short term until Yordan returns
-Rest of lineup is chalk

#Mariners
-Lineup is same as today.
- just my daily “add Kyle Lewis, Shed Long and Evan White reminder”

#Reds
-They’re playing analytics. New lineup vs RHP today.
-Winker leading off
-Akiyama starting and batting 6th
-Senzel in again. Every day player. Love to see it.

#Mets
-Trotting out a new look vs LHP
-Nimmo hitting 9th vs LHP
-Conforto also dropping to 7th
-Cespedes batting cleanup. As this man to your teams!
-Jeff McNeil moved to leadoff
-JD Davis batting 2nd #LFGM

#Tigers
-Literally same lineup as yesterday. Nothing of note.

#Rockies
-Another team playing the matchup game. Facing a LHP and have a different lienup.
-Hampson is in! Short side of platoon and batting at bottom of the order (8th) is not what we want. Hard to roster in shallow formats.
-Matt Kemp is DH & batting 5th
-Dahl playing daily

-Murphy is out &McMahon over time 1B
-Of course Chris Owings is in at 2B
-Hilliard is out.

#Braves
-Pretty chalk lineup
-Riley getting very day PT. Moved to LF today and Camargo to 3B
-Ozuna to DH but still batting cleanup.
-Duvall in RF bs LHP
-Inciarte is out.

#Indians
-Small changes today vs RHP
-Zimmer is in and batting 9th
-Mercado up to 7th hole. I’ll take it

-Domingo Santana out. Could be short side of platoon.
-Naquin out with injury but when he’s back, he will slot in RHP platoon with Luplow.

#BlueJays
-Gurriel Jr. is back in the lineup and batting 3rd.
-This pushes Vlad to 4th, Shaw to 5th & Grinchuk to 6th
-Jansen our McGuire in

#Athletics
-Olson back in cleanup today vs RHP
-Mark Canha out. Is he in a platoon?! . I don’t believe so but it’s worth monitoring.
-Laureano batting 2nd all the time. Didn’t doubt it but good to see.
-Pinder getting results run at 2B. So much for Kemp or Baretto.

#Royals
-Same EXACT lineup for the second straight day.
-Franchy Cordero is not starting again. If you were stashing (as I was) he’s a drop for now. Hard to stash with no idea how long it’ll take to get regular at-bats.
-Starling getting every day AB’s. 15-TM/ AL only target

#Phillies
-They appears to be sticking to Hoskins in the 2-hole.
-Ramon Quinn remains in over Haseley. This is now vs a LHP & RHP. Must add for speed in deeper leagues! Has top-end speed.
-Segura seems solidified in the 5/6 spot and Gregorias to follow.
-Bruce out vs LHP

#Dodgers
-Similar lineup over the first 3 games now. Continue to alternate L and R handed batters up and down it.
-AJ Pollock seems to be on a short side platoon. Only played 1/3 of the games so far.
-Kike Hernandez has played all 3 games at 2B
-Chris Taylor has 2/3 of games.

Odd as Pollock has hit well vs RHP over his career but did struggle last season vs them.

#Angels
-Rendon remains out. Unsure why he’s not on IL
-Ohtani our to prep for start Sunday
-Upton up to 3-hole
-La Stella remains playing daily. Wonder how they fit him in with Rendon back
