cage(?):
for this you can use anything, i used a plastic box with holes drilled into it. they need oxygen (obviously) but not a lot of space, i have about 8 snails in this box (small and big). i don’t recommend getting too many snails like i did, but they do like company!

interior:
you need normal soil for the ground, i used hydro granules too but these aren’t a necessity. they like climbing so sticks are definitely fun for them. they also like hiding, so lots of leaves is appreciated. don’t forget to include dead leaves too!

foods:
unfortunately, only leaves isn’t enough for snails. they eat a lot of different types of foods so i left a little list of the things they like/can eat! also, i recommend getting cuttlefish from a pet store because they need calcium. egg shells can work too (sometimes)

care:
you need to keep their home moist (ew) because snails definitely don’t like it being dry. keep a spray bottle of water and spray a little when it gets too dry. i used a make up fixing spray bottle and thoroughly cleaned it. you should also replace the food every once in a -

while to make sure it doesn’t get too dry/dirty. oh! i forgot to say this, i recommend a little food bowl and putting it in there, just be sure it’s not too high up so they can get to it easily like i did here.
cleaning:
the place will get dirty fast, i mean they’re snails. just clean whenever it gets too dirty or the leaves r sloppy/too dead.
these aren’t picky animals, they’re used to nature but of course it’s nice to make sure it doesn’t get too bad.

just wash ur hands ig. don’t be a pussy they’re harmless snails

which snails to pick:
any in ur garden. also if you get tired of the snails or can’t take care of them, you can put them right back into ur garden they don’t mind they’re snails.

end of thread! keep in mind, this is all from my experience of having snails for two (2) days, i’m not an expert so your experience might be different.
