1. Anger is an emotion. It can motivate you to persevere or hurt those around you. Bobby experiences destructive anger in the first half, affecting those around him. Lilly experiences anger that helps her face her demons. #1YearForDearComrade

2. You won't have solid answers to some questions. And that's okay. Lilly asks Bobby why he likes her. He says he doesn't know, but he knows that he loves her and that's enough for him. Celebrate the magic of life! #1YearForDearComrade

3. Never be afraid to stand apart from the herd. Bobby is a communist believer in an increasingly capitalist world. Lilly is a girl breaking the mould as an ace cricketer. Both fight for what they believe in. #1YearForDearComrade

4. Never forget the person who had your back when no one else did. When Lilly is suffering from depression, only Bobby has the drive to heal her back. When Bobby is being beaten up, Lilly is the only one in the crowd to get down and help him. #1YearForDearComrade

5. Respect your partner's goals and dreams. They are part of who they are. Lilly helps Bobby's sound crew with a recording of her own. Bobby is willing to sacrifice even their love to see Lilly succeed in cricket! #1YearForDearComrade

6. In one of the film's most powerful scenes, Lilly stands up to Bobby and asks if anyone ever stopped to ask what she wants. It's easy to let other people goad you into things. Stand up for yourself. #1YearForDearComrade

7. Be open-minded. Bobby thinks Lilly is a nuisance when he first meets her. He later grows to respect her as a human being and love her. Lilly also thinks Bobby can never overcome his anger but is proved wrong later. She tells him he has changed. #1YearForDearComrade

8. When the bond is pure, no distance can keep you apart. Even in Ladakh, Bobby meets a little girl whose name is "Lilly"! Even though she left Bobby, Lilly can't stop remembering him. #1YearForDearComrade

11. In the film's climax, a priceless shot is where Bobby fights off the guards and rushes to watch his Lilly fight back and become Aparna Devi. He watches with pride and happy tears to see his dear one succeed. It's truly an unparalleled feeling! #1YearForDearComrade
