I keep hearing the words "appropriating her work", "not respecting the legacy" and then bringing race into the matter, alongside baseless accusations against Justin& #39;s character, do you even bother to actually learn anything about Flite? Or is this all on a whim
The IPs aren& #39;t the same, they simply aren& #39;t, if flite was flight then I wouldn& #39;t even fight the issue, but they& #39;re only similar, and again, NOBODY would make the mistake of mixing these two together. Phase and Phace coexist without 0 issues, everyone understands the difference
In fact IP/brand/marketing issues could& #39;ve been solved long ago if it was a big deal, I& #39;m completely certain Flite chose the name without any knowledge on DJ Flight, making Flite his alias isn& #39;t in any manner some intentional slight at her, and I& #39;m certain he& #39;d be understanding
The actually disgusting part of this is baselessly attacking Flite and making up information about him and his character, all this horrible vitriol, many of you really don& #39;t even bother talking about him like he& #39;s a person AND as well people attacking DJ Flight
Don& #39;t act like you actually know either of these people, I genuinely can& #39;t believe y& #39;all decided to attack Justin who has been nothing but a genuinely good person to everyone he meets, and has only ever tried to make music as a passion, why are you all lying about him

There& #39;s already massive gatekeeping issues and elitism in the """dnb scene""" and now we attack a young producer that simply didn& #39;t know about an artist that came years before him, y& #39;all really said "you want to produce dnb? Okay name every dnb artist"

You all make me feel 2nd hand embarrassment, so many people want to be far away from the scene because of the amount of absolutely batshit insane issues you all make up, NOTHING ABOUT THIS IS REASONABLE, HEALTHY OR EVEN MAKES SENSE
If you& #39;re going to say something about Flite or why you don& #39;t agree with what& #39;s happened, or any of his decisions make sure you aren& #39;t simply making up a story in your head, because yet again, the internet forgot about confirmation bias and have gone ballistic
If you& #39;re going to say something to me, make sure you& #39;re not making assumptions and incorrect judgements, so many people love making up stories in their heads and then getting angry about it
Please, this year has been horrible, every artist is already in a bad spot, and instead of uniting in any sense of manner, we& #39;re just trying to tear each other apart, for genuinely no reason, it isn& #39;t hard to be a good person to each other
If Flite was actually being bigoted online, if he was being racist, sexist, trans/homophobic, y& #39;know THE REAL FUCKING ISSUES IN THE DNB SCENE, I& #39;d be making a lot of noise against him, but he isn& #39;t, and you all are treating him like he is. Flite, didn& #39;t do anything wrong
I will die on this hill, people just stand and watch their colleagues be unjustly accused and attacked in many occasions, fearing catching flak, but I can& #39;t stand in silence as people attack one of the most genuinely caring people I& #39;ve met in the scene
All this damn energy could be used to address all the real issues and bias going on with channels, labels, artists (especially Facebook), groups, etc instead of whatever the hell this mess is, you& #39;ve even brought in actual trolls and baiters, this is so out of hand
There& #39;s plenty of bigots and genuinely problematic people in the scene, I& #39;ve for one have never felt fully welcomed or safe being who I am, so seeing one of the few people who& #39;s made me feel fully accepted getting attacked is actually heartbreaking
Don& #39;t care if I drop a wall text, if you disagree you can try to prove me wrong, but you need to be truthful here and with yourselves.
