I just, fundamentally, do not understand the big “medical” side of the concern. Is it just that they’re terrified that... some ppl might take hormones and regret it later? Which might... idk lead to reduced fertility or something? seems like a touch of an overreaction?

Like I don’t see anyone pearl clutching like “think of the children” at the fact that some people later go on to regret getting tattoos and have to get them removed
