We’re home & it feels so good. Fritz is very happy to be back in Canada. He’s a little cold but is very happy.
My neighbours stocked the kitchen, bought us bedding and towels and so much more. We got home and I cried again. I honestly don’t know what we’d have done without them

There’s so much more I have to say. Jet lag and honestly think I have PTSD now.
When we went to leave Muscat many were denied boarding. Some were even sent back on flight to Oman.
I’ve never been so scared.

And your layover couldn’t be more than 24 hours and on and on. Lots of yelling in Arabic so you didn’t know who they were talking about and if you were next.
We were checked though then stopped at security once over Fritz but that was quickly resolved

Flights were very good. SalamAir, QatarAir, very friendly on board, strict covid19 measures in place
Fritz had his own seat from Doha to Montreal. Other than extorting us for our luggage, Thanks @qatarairways for being good to Fritz

Entering Canada is a whole other story. Very very lax here compared to Oman and Qatar.
When we landed in Montreal the CBSA and security agents were extremely rude. Not sure what their problem was. @yulaeroport worst staff ever

Air Canada and PET had rules but no one was following them really.
Air Canada was very friendly and helpful though. Thanks @AirCanada
I was suprised how we were able to get through screening & out of the airport with little tracking and accountability.

Maybe I’m used to the Middle East’s strict enforcement but we really just walked out the airport and could’ve gone anywhere.
We didnt though. We paid for private transportation, wore masks and came straight home.
Now at home for 2 weeks quarantine.
