They are an organization and a “victory” for them goes a long way to boost their profile and also encourage them.

So yeah, they can be especially interested because of the accused’s profile
To assist someone Pro-Bono, you cannot be on the fence.

You will work with all the information available to you and pick a side.
Once you pick a side, you work towards an expected outcome and if things happen differently, it’s demotivating.

This outcome shouldn’t please STER
Recently, my uncle got into trouble and I was consulting with my colleagues and giving him premium legal advise for free and guess what, he was doing the direct opposite and coming for more advise.

I told him to never call my phone again, and I told my dad to warn him too. 😂

So what is happening is a clash of values, clash of interests, clash of egos and mostly clash of expected outcome.

Also, as a victim it is important to note that different organizations have their preferred strategy.
This might because of values or experience.

So.. it’s better to pick one volunteer and stick with them.
Can’t take advice from everyone showing some interest in your plight.
