If the victim’s way of speaking up and raising awareness is through this platform then let them. This might really sound rude and apathetic.

However, the suggestion of taking legal measures is NOT WRONG and will never be, given that there are admissions and evidences showing SEXUAL VIOLENCE as defined on Section 3(B) or RA 9262 which is a clear and straight up violation of the LAW.
And in that case, such act of lasciviousness IS OBVIOUSLY PUNISHABLE BY LAW. It’s not a matter of what’s right and wrong according to our subjective beliefs, opinions and letting the law of karma take over.
The victims MAY resort to appeal and taking legal actions but first and foremost, tell and inform your parents of what happened, they must believe you, they ought to believe you especially if you are minors. If not, and you’re still decided to file a case, seek help from someone+
...trustworthy and reliable. You may also consult and seek help from recognized organizations such as Gabriela, Philippine Commission on Women and even organizations advocating mental health.
It is your right to seek justice and have law as a tool and NOT TAKE MATTERS TO YOUR HAND just because THE POLICE MIGHT NOT LISTEN.

Furthermore, where are the conclusive proofs that the police won’t listen? Are you aware of the entire process of filing a case? If you think that justice will be served solely at the police station, then you’re wrong.
Here’s a guide on how to file a criminal case. https://ndvlaw.com/how-to-file-a-criminal-case-in-the-philippines/">https://ndvlaw.com/how-to-fi...
This is written in the article “It is wise to report the crime or felony with the barangay and police authorities. Thereafter, you must secure a brgy blotter and police blotter or report so that you may use them as evidences”. In fact, it is just a part of the preliminary phase.
The legal and court proceedings won’t take place at the police station. You may also seek legal advice first from a LAWYER before heading to the police if you don’t want to go directly. The police is not just your first and last resort.
Moreover, here is where False Dilemma (a form of fallacy) enters the scene. Options are not limited to just speaking up or taking legal measures. You may do the aforementioned then speak up and vice versa.
To those who resorted to victim blaming, re-think your decisions. Additionally, cases like those happen to all genders. Never objectify a person, there’s a reason why we human beings are labelled as the highest life form so don’t lose your rationality and conscience.
Lastly, just a friendly reminder, there are many influencers today whose opinions have great impact to their massive number of followers, but let me remind you, you must always be critical as to what opinions make sense. ++
You have to first analyze and be meticulous before taking sides. Corruption of mind is also evil so we must also be responsible of what we post and tweet.
