#China races by to lead the world in supercomputers, infrastructure improvements, super trains, etc. We face serious problems, but the #President, the Cabinet and #Congress genuinely don’t seem to care, bogged down as they are in extraordinarily petty issues. #BigBrother...

was pitiful compared to the spying of social media. Our politicians, beholden to lobbyists and big money to get elected and stay elected are unable to do the right thing because there are no #termlimits.

It’s perfectly okay to lie to 320,000,000 American people, but not to a toothless Congressional committee of 15. Stealing from a house gets you a jail term, but leaking the identities of 147 million people is laughed off.

Every year, thousands of Americans die from opioid abuse and thousands die from so many other things.
Our police are tasked to protect us. Fearful of seeming unpatriotic or perhaps simply fearing them, we dare not hold them to the same high standards they hold civilians.

We pat ourselves on the back for our exceptionalism, and look the other way as we do poorly in longevity, infant mortality, corruption, freedom of the press, education, homelessness and other key metrics.

This cannot stand and must change. We need exceptional leadership to be an exceptional nation. There is nothing exceptional except in a negative way to have 147,000 #coronavirus deaths, laughable pollution/emissions standards, and leaders who are anti-science, data, and people.
