why do mosquitoes, fly and cockroaches exist; a very random thread
common name: mosquitoes
scientific name: culicidae
average life span: 2 weeks to 6 months
smaller than a paper clip but can be deadly
they are carriers or vectors for some of humanity's deadly diseases such as: malaria, yellow fever, dengue fever, filariasis, etc.

in short, don't let these bijjes bite you
they feed on blood, piercing the host's skin using their tube-like mouthparts that adult females of the species mostly have.

males aren't trash in this one
BUT, despite of the nuisance and the 700,000 thousand deaths they cause annually, they are important pollinators and serves as food for bats, birds, fish and frogs.

they're still annoying though, got dengue 3 times already
common name: housefly
scientific name: diptera
average life span: 28 days (wow good job)
they smol too
for each person on earth there are 17 million flies (imagine kung tayo yun)

deretso na tayo sa importance: sa larva stage (maggots) they consume decomposing bodies, other types can be used as fishing bait. they pollinate plants but also damages crops... weird
BUT they hunt dragonflies (poor things) and kill spiders.

BUT AGAIN, they also spread diseases (enteric infections, typhoid, cholera, eye infections, etc.
common name: AHHH (chos) cockroaches
scientific name: blattodea
life span: 180 days (napaka tibay)
size: kahit anong size nakakatakot
less threatening: when crawling
threatening: when near
alarming: when flying
what if they don't exist?

walang makakain yung ibang animals such as birds, mice and rats. tsaka kinakain din yan ng mga tao eh... ANYWAY, decomposing is one of their main purposes and kung walang ipis, lalong dudumi ang mundo so... let's be a bit grateful of their existence
notes. hindi ako expert, made this thread kasi nacurious ako yun lang hehe
