Okay,
shall we not do this? Shame someone for their commission prices? This guy is an professional, has many years under his belt and is totally in his right to ask that price. When you commission him you KNOW his style & what you pay for.

And small artists.. please ask more❤ https://twitter.com/FavorateGP/status/1286145055539912704
Take it from someone who started his social media presence by taking on REQUESTS and giving art away for free. It didn't help me grow, it hurt me more than just charging for my work.

Joining a community, supporting fellow artists and making art that helped me grow did.
It took me a while too before i understood that the moment i ask 40 euro for a FULL BODY drawing is hurting everyone in the art community.

On multiple levels. The artists i look up to get messages like: 300 euro for a commission?? This guy does it for 40..

And
Newer artists who just started look at my/your work and might think:

He/she is asking 40 euro for that??
I am nowhere near that level yet?? I cant ask 40 euros for my stuff now..

Let's end the stigma on commissions prices.. It's OKE to charge higher prices for your art.
Let's support each other on here. And let's not shame someone like this because it reinforces the idea that charging a living wage for your art is BAD.

It isn't.

Your art is worth it and you deserve to profit from your growth.
I want to add something.

Someone pointed out the guy, Butch Hartman, is a biggot and after googling it i've come to realize he is indeed a Biggot with capital B.

However, my point still stands regarding commission prices. Just know i don't support his views.
