A friend of mine sent me this today. And I& #39;ve seen many talking about this and assuming such things to happen too. First of all, I don& #39;t think it& #39;s ok to compare them. The two groups are both different and have been shaped by their cultures.
But if y& #39;all want it so bad, then we can have a short overview.

No K-pop group has ever broken the record of fastest YouTube views. BTS paved the way. Not only for themselves, but for other K-pop groups too who are making this record these days.
Since we are talking about views and you wanna compare them to 1D so bad!

BTS is genuine in their passion, in their brotherhood, and in their music. They can dance, sing, rap, act, write, compse, produce and have formed an amazing relationship with their fans while remaining hardworking and humble. They are unlike anyone out there right now.
I used to listen to a lot of 1D songs and I love them. But they are mostly love songs and BTS& #39; concept is entirely different. BTS sings about mental health, social problems and also about love.
For me, what BTS creates is not just music but art.

Why don& #39;t you guys see the fact that they sing in a language that isnt global? All these past groups The Beatles, 1D, they all had the edge of language everyone around the world could understand. Considering the fact that BTS has done this all with these odds is convincing enough
