Are filmmakers still not over blaming the audience for flop films, rather than consider that the audience is lulled into a false sense of demand by the overwhelming supply-hype certain films create & we aren't going to waste our hard earned money on movies we don't know about?
I have said it before and gonna say it again - no 'audience' started demanding Taimur photos. The world didn't stop if you didn't over expose that child. Pap pages hyped up Bebo when was preggrs, pap pages hyped up the kid. We consume what we are given. Stop blaming us.
It's easy to blame the audience, who has the least power here. There's ultimately money driving around the PR, Media, Pap Coverage, Social Media - these are what lead us to only consume a certain kind of content. We don't choose it, that's all that's available for us.
Saying that the 'audience must find out about new films' is absolutely stupid. We consume what we see. It's not our fault that money and influence is concentrated and only moves in certain cliques and families. It's a problem you need to sort out rather than keep blaming us.
