fatphobia is DEEPLY intertwined with other oppressions. they yank and tug on each other, they change each other, they make each other bigger and worse. in some ways they grew up together.
that depends on specific histories and other specific details, of course.
but each oppression ALSO has unique things. it's hard enough to talk about one of them -- say, racism, or fatphobia -- given how many iterations and flavors they have in the world.

but to frame one oppression as a subset of another is incorrect.
it doesn't help fight any of them to place one under the umbrella of another.
fatphobia isn't a subset of ableism. or classism. or racism. or misogyny.

fatphobia is An Oppression. and THEN, we can talk about how it interacts, reinscribes, worsens, and is worsened by other ones.
many of the iterations and flavors OF ONE oppression are related to where a person sits in relation to OTHER oppressions. and as we examine that, it is better to remember that each oppression is an axis. not a subset of another. https://twitter.com/tommyinboots/status/1286916568992096257
