I liked being alone with Win, and I wanted to see more of him. Not just tonight, but tomorrow and the next day. Everything- from the easy way he laughed to his wit to his obvious concern for others- struck me as fresh and desirable.
The air filled with music, I marveled at how new everything felt. New and yet comfortable, as if we’d known each other forever. Yet we weren’t even a real couple. -Bright
Spending time with P’ Bright made me wonder whether it was possible to defy the norm. I wanted more of him, and no matter what happened between us, I already knew I’d never forget anything about him. Continuation....
As crazy as it sounded, he was becoming part of me, and I was already dreading the fact that we wouldn’t be able to spend the day togther tomorrow or the day after, or the day after that. Maybe, I told myself, we could beat the odds.
Memories can have a physical, almost living presence, and in this, Win and I are different as well. If his are stars in the night sky, mine are the haunted empty spaces in between.
I fell in love with him when we were 2gether, then fell deeper in love with him in the days we were apart. Our story has 3 parts: a beginning, a middle, and an end. And although I don’t know how our story unfolds. I am still waiting if ours will go on forever. -Bright and Win
