Toprock, refers from 'rock the beat to the top'--this is usually used when a B-boy make a consecutive steps from standing position (usually to open any dance set).
When the B-boy finally 'drop' from the standing position, it's called 'downrock' (or footwork/floorwork)
C-Walk (or dripwalk). A footwork where dancers bounce their way with transfering their weight through a nimble shuffle step.

(Back then, this move is used by LA gang members to spell out letters of their gang name)
Chyper. When the dancers form a circle and start to dance one by one in the center. The center of the dancefloor that is open to those who wish to dance-- so it's not really a battle.
TKO/Killing/Kill off
When a sequence of dance moves the crowd so much that's it's technically knocked out their opponent. In krumping they usually refers it as 'kill off' -- that's why Yibo said 'we must kill three' 'I can't wait for Bouboo to kill them all'
Air Baby Freeze. This particular is called that way because it supposed to be the one that's most common and easiest freeze to learn. IT'S USUALLY USE TWO HANDS THO dhskshd Yang Kai only use one hand which is definitely HARDER
King Tut. Tutting is a variant of moves that's inspired heavily on thr shape egypt heliographics. It basically use your arms and shoulders to make angles, shapes, and boxes.
If you want to see a form of tutting in Kpop/Cpop please watch

I already explain about hand gestures (biting, crashing, slapping the floor) together with Locking, Breaking, Krumping, and Popping in the street battle dance in this thread!

A little bit background of the dancers in Wang Yibo street! (There's a chance that the dancers will choose other captain, but I believe Daswitch, Klash, and Bouboo will stay with Yibo) #CaptainYibo https://twitter.com/Dyanasthasia/status/1285223662535061504?s=19
If there's anything you want to ask about Battle Dance Terminology, you're free to hit me. Not sure I can answer all of them tho, it's been a while 😂😂
I decide not to break all the moves : (such as airwalk, swag style, boogaloo, air kick) because there's literally SO MANY of them 😂😂
MTJJs are discussing terminologies/dance in general in Weibo's supertopic! Please check out the one that have '3' in them because the other one is moderated by y*uku admins and they somehow stirred fanwars inside the supertopic :|
I will just plug my edit here! Feel free to use it! https://twitter.com/Dyanasthasia/status/1286598956542132226?s=19
Some people asking me about krumping.. Here's the key : if it LOOKS ANGRY, have a lot of chest pop, foot stomps, and offensive hand gestures like you're about to pick a fight, it's krumping 😂😂

Examples : Yibo and Seungjoo - Born To Fight.
I'm in this thread again because people apparently prefer me to spam about dance trivias. There's several people who's confused about the difference between locking and waacking because both have 'similiar' hands movement. Actually they're very different.
Locking still relies on hand movement that combined together with relaxed legs and hips. So if you saw them jumping and stepping a lot while 'pointing' with their hands, it's locking.
Meanwhile, waacking leans heavily on rotational arms movement. Their body and legs usually don't move as much as locking because the focus is the hands.
Tbh I'm still figuring whether this girl is doing waacking/voguing because she didn't do the duck/cat walk that often existed in Voguing and eventhough she dip, she doesn't do the usual 'dip and spin'... But afterall both is kinda similiar in rotational arms >.>o
Let me put this because I'm shameless https://twitter.com/Dyanasthasia/status/1287037052635115520?s=19
