Harry opened up about going to therapy, talked about his struggles with a painful breakup, explained why he was holding back with his first album, talked about losing a friend to suicide & how it changed his outlook, told us how difficult it was to perform an emotional song. —
— He talked about coming to terms with himself, how he didn’t want to be a hypocrite by holding back and how we helped him be more and more himself. He spoke about the books he enjoys, he gave us a two hour playlist of songs that soothe him, —
— accompanied us during quarantine, and talked about his routine. He went to listening parties to be close to fans while hearing the album for the first time. He read us a bedtime story that was written specifically for his fans. All the early promo for his music was completely —
— fan focused, with stuff only us would understand. He did small secret shows and shared an entire concert for 25 dollars the day he released Fine Line her only fans would be interested in. He gave us backstage footage for the first time. He shared his fears, his heart, —
— his struggles, his love. He told us he’s more confident and wants to be more open...

If your measure of connecting with him is social media, then you’re missing out. If you think him being successful pushes him away, then you’re missing out.
It’s simply incomprehensible that people could feel disconnected when he hasn’t been this open and this honest once in the past ten years

And it feels a little ungrateful that some people only feel connected to him when he tweets or talks about his old band
Harry is more than 1D. If you feel disconnected when he doesn’t mention the band, then maybe stay out of his solo career. It’s unfair to him

Harry has said how hard social media is for his mental health, if you need that to feel connected maybe he isn’t the artist for you
