Why psychedelics are going to be a market monster: a thread.
When cannabis started to get top heavy and folks started talking about shrooms as an industry, I decided to try them for the first time. As research, mind you.. swear to god.
The impact was immediate and important.
As a fairly set in his ways 50-year-old, playing with shrooms over the last six months has been eye opening and helpful to getting me where I want to be, clarifying emotional issues, spurring creativity, lessening ADHD, narrowing my focus. It's been like a decade of therapy.
And that's before you even get to the romantic side. Doing shrooms with someone can be the best relationship therapy you'll ever experience. Every married couple should rent an airbnb somewhere and do shrooms once a mth.
Have mercy, it's like a step below molly without hangover.
The importance of psychedelics is ego removal. You can't fix yourself until you can accurately see yourself and your ego is built to prevent that. It's not about 'seeing the music', it's about emotional clarity. Anti-anxiety drugs that cause suicidal thoughts aren't it.
Shrooms shatter your ego. Yes, you'll see patterns in the carpet and some weird shit in the corner of your eye, but that's not important. Talking is important. You won't be able to stop yourself chatting and you'll go places that are real - and that you'll remember the next day.
There are court cases rolling out currently that could, at any point, make mushrooms, molly, LSD and more - legal across the country, and when that happens, we'll see 80 pubcos switch that day.
Before that happens, if you're interested in understanding what's real, try some.
1 gram of these will do it for the evening. Do it with a partner. Be somewhere familiar. Don't do it if you're having a shit day. Stay away from mirrors. Empty stomach is best. They're like eating sticks, so try edibles if you're delicate. You'll be fine. https://magicmushroomsdispensary.ca/product/golden-teacher-magic-mushrooms/
Weed is fine, it's fun, it's helpful, but I can't say this enough- if you have a romantic partner and you have stuff to work out, THIS IS THE ANSWER.
If you're anxious and stuck in a rut, THIS IS THE ANSWER.
If you're unfocused and can't find the road forward, THIS IS THE ANSWER
In terms of the markets, what you should look for is what you'd look for in a weed investment. Not growers, but products that will attract a more mainstream consumer, formats that make for easy use and consistent dose, quality brands (none exist yet) & a pharmaceutical approach.
Clinics? As useless as they are with weed.
Resorts? Likewise.
Growers? It's cheaper than weed to grow so, no.

Edibles. Beverages. Retail. Pharma.

Now go get some and show your partner your good side. And make her call you Chris.
PS: That link above to the mushroom dispensary, I have no financial interest but have used their products and the experience has been good. What you buy shows up quickly and is as advertised.
