I am tired of covid and I am tired of politicians trying to have it both ways. The government needs to shut businesses down and provide money and aid to families and businesses to make the shut down viable so people can stay home safely.

You cannot defeat this virus when you’re allowing people to go to restaurants and get their hair done and whatever else.

I’m so sick of it. And I’m sick of people making excuses as to why they’re the special snowflake who is being extra careful.

Go in the house. Read a book. Take a nap. Smoke some weed. Whatever. Just keep in the house so we don’t have to keep doing this. I’m so tired of people.

Every day I’m seeing people do this and that outside with friends. Don’t y’all think we all want to be out chilling? Like, cmon y’all. Seriously.

What really has been cooking my rice is when the people who are out and about hit me up and say “How’s wedding planning?”

Is this a serious question?

I do not complain because my loved ones are safe and healthy. Everyone is employed. Those we know who have had COVID have recovered.

But damn, man.

People are so selfish. Those of us who have been staying inside really don’t deserve this. It’s made me look at people really differently.

I saw a little old lady coming out of Target the other day with a mask and some bags. It was HOT she was slow as all hell getting to where she was going. It makes me SO angry that elders are suffering through this.

People keep joking about how we won’t be out until 2023 and then hanging out with friends and say they’re “socially distant” in doing so.

Have y’all been watching the news? They’re perfectly fine to let you die.

There isn’t even anything they can give you for your discomfort. And if you “recover,” lord knows what effects you may be left with.

But people are getting haircuts.

I am just operating with so much quiet rage these days. I can’t stand it.

I want to go see my parents. That’s all I want.
