gonna say what i wanna say anyways. ahem. let me get my mic n soap box.

1) seon being the only i-lander shown to be leaving i-land is psychological. people are rallying behind voting for seon BECAUSE he was shown leaving. his fanbase is small. he would not have had enough votes to be saved otherwise, & this is mnet’s shot in the dark to keep him +

for pt. 2 of the show. not knowing the other trainees going to the ground is only unfair to them. being told seon moves to ground is not unfair to him at all, it makes voters think they should save him. it’s a tactical move by mnet. they know they edited him kinda evil +

but also know he is a leader figure to the boys. his talent may not be as good as others, but his is an important person to the guys. it’s not “seon man**ulative” it’s seon friend & leader.

2) geonu being rumored to be leaving also pulls votes in for him as he also has a small fanbase. i’m sure some mnet editor saw that nameplate and intentionally left that in there. it’s like an easter egg. “hihi yall may want to save geonu too here’s a hint.”

3) typically on reality shows, the people shown most in the episode are either the stars or the people that go home. we show this example already. seon had more screentime of him being a nice guy & then we saw him leaving. i’m going to have to watch the ep again +

to really determine who are the stars and who’s at a threat of leaving and have to be saved by the global vote. preliminarily, i think kyungmin & jaebeom may leave bc they had a long clip of them practicing hard. hint of “look! they work so hard! be mindful when you vote!” +

contrarily, ppl who get hardly any screen time/ only positive screentime have more chance of staying. we saw hardly any of heeseung & jungwon, but i personally don’t see them leaving. on the other hand, geonu got 1sec and he’s rumored to be leaving. +

take what i say as you will, but i think mnet is really playing games with our minds rather than being unfair. this is the end of this thread until i watch the ep again and decide to think more. plug: vote euijoo he’s super friendly & talented
