The first time I was in a space where I introduced my "go back home to yourself" dialogue circle was in Skownan First Nation during a school service learning trip.
I asked everyone to go back home to themselves with silence for 20mins. I watched elders and students cry.
I ended my session "healing starts from within." We had a 30 mins discussion on embracing your inner being and rejecting the lies that the world has told you about yourself.
I remember the two elders told me, "don't keep your gift dormant. The earth needs you to sow more seeds."
Who were you before the life challenges, wounds, pains, failures, mistakes that happened in your life. Your first being before anything happened, contains your capacity to experience wonder, joy, innocence, creativity, laughter, growth along with hope for the future. Go home.
Our human life experience is never lost or forgotten; it is all stored in our body and subconscious mind as a memory to be activated consciously or unconsciously by similar experiences in later life.
This is why you have flash backs and remember things that have happened to you.
The past is therefore ever present and as such interferes with and distorts present reality. This leads to the perpetuation of dysfunctional behaviour patterns, difficulties in relationships, limitation of creative potential, stress, exhaustion and illness on many levels.
You are the captain of your life. Go home back to yourself. Explore your inner life and become aware of hidden patterns and blocks, buried riches and potential. Empower yourself to clear past impositions which in the course of your life has compromised your wholeness & dignity.
Create calm moments to resource your human potential, invoking and accessing new possibilities for peaceful living and the realization of your full humanity. Start affirming the spiritual dimension of your human being. This leaves you in charge of your own transformation.

I pray you find your healing and transformation no matter how slow or eventful it will be.
