I promised one of my gaming groups a list of queer and queer coded children's books, so I'm going to thread them and hook you all up!
One of my absolute favorites is from the stars in the sky to the fish in the sea, by kai cheng thom.

The child is nonbinary, and plural folks might feel something special about this one.
No Matter What by Debi Gliori is my favorite book to read to sad smols and Littles, and is entirely ungendered. Was it on purpose? I hope so.
You Make Your Parents Super Happy by Richy K. Chandler is a queer and nongendered book about parents breaking up but still loving their kids!
What Makes A Baby by Cory Silverberg and Fiona Smyth is an intentional, queer- friendly book about how kids are made.
It feels good to be yourself is a gender and identity book, by Theresa Thorn and Noah Grigni.
Who Are You? Is like a gender identity workbook/story for small children!
By Brook Pessin-Whedbee and Naomi Bardoff.
Is That For a Boy or a Girl? Talks about how people can enjoy things! And they don't have to be gendered. By Flamingo Rampant, who does a lot of tender queer books.
Harriet Gets Carried Away:
This kid has two dads and it's really sweet wandering imagination stuff. Also costumes.
Not Quite Narwhal is an amazing book about being nonbinary and also found family and queerness.
Neither is also about being nonbinary, and rejecting being forced into boxes.
Very cute.
The Magic Of We by Danielle Anderson-Craig and Carly Dooling is beautiful, touching, and has the joy of having ambiguously gendered characters and no gendered pronouns.
Come All You Little Persons is about a lot of specifically not gendered children with magical hearts coming together for a gathering. I have no idea why this showed up at my house two years ago, but it's very cute.
If I Had a Gryphon is a cute story about all kinds of magical creatures being terrible pets, and the main character themself is ambiguously gendered. The creatures go back and forth between he/her.
Isle of You is another ambiguously gendered child who is surrounded by lots of they/them creatures and tries lots of different gender expressions through the story of being loved when you're lonely.
In My Heart is about feelings! Which is very important. And the person experiencing them runs through many feelings and is also ambiguously gendered.
Six Dinner Sid is a book about a cat... but it's really accidentally about polyamory and communication! It's very cute and sweet.
Special mention: all the mother bruce books. Obviously.
I read them with they/them pronouns, but that bear is a queer mom.
Side note: I actually have several more books than this but these are the favorites.
Ah forgot to include My Footprints! by Bao Phi and Basia Tran

This beautiful book is a kid exploring their identity and dealing with bullying, via a walk in the woods with two moms. It's so lovely.
