At what point are mantis going to stop with the infantalizing take that the guys know nothing about the business side of the music industry? It's insulting to say they're at Big Hit's mercy when the guys have made it clear they have an active part in planning their careers

Before COVID, they did major, multi episode promo with Corden and Fallon. They also had CONNECT_BTS. This thread is old, but they've been doing a ton of US promo for years. So what it comes down to is this: you want to tell the artists with the best selling album in the United States, South Korea, Japan and worldwide and the company that manages them that they need to what? Pay to be on TTH? Pay for radio spins? And let's conveniently forget all

This conversation should be so unnecessary at this point. They resigned with Big Hit for 7 more years. They were helped in

negotiations by their parents, and Big Hit recommended they seek legal counsel for extra security. If the guys are happy, then I'm happy. If they choose to sign with a US label, or if they start doing more aggressive and costly forms of promo, I'm still going to back them up

because I'm here for them.

I used to be afraid of people calling me a company stan just for saying "I trust BTS" but idgaf anymore. It's such a stupid drag. I know I'm here for the guys. I don't have pictures of Big Hit and Bang hanging on my walls If they had of walked at

the end of their contract, I would have followed wherever they went and not given Big Hit a second thought. Ffs, I don't even think about the company now unless I'm fighting them over shipping or until weirdos go around spreading misinformation or treating the guys like they're

dumb or victims.

So yes, could they be doing more aggressive US promo: absolutely. Do I want them to do more promo: I want them to do whatever they want to do. I'm here for the guys and their music. If they're happy, I'm happy.
