BREAKING NEWS: Election-integrity advocate ⁦ @bernstein_lynn⁩ has discovered that Wake County, NC is breaking NC law by leaving voted absentee ballots sitting in a warehouse for a week AFTER confirming the signatures, creating an obvious opening for potential fraud. 😳 1/
Under NC law, the board is supposed to scan (count) absentee ballots as soon as they confirm the signatures, avoiding this gaping hole in the chain of custody. Lynn has pointed this out to them, but Wake County thus far won’t listen. 2/
This sort of problem can be fixed, but only if we shine a light in it and demand it. I will post my full interview of @bernstein_lynn, founder of Transparent Elections North Carolina, later today or tomorrow. Pls look out for it. She has much information to share. TY! 3/
To be clear, the concern here would be potential election fraud (by election insiders), not voter fraud (by individual voters. Lynn is NOT saying that fraud is occurring. But the law is designed to prevent fraud, so why won’t Wake County, NC follow it?! 4/ #NC
Here's my full interview of election-integrity advocate @bernstein_lynn, where she discusses what, in her observation, NC is doing right & what it's doing wrong re: election security. There's still time to correct much of the wrong if folks wld listen. 5/
Actually, the video in post 5 appears to be only the first part of the interview. I hope to post the rest soon. Thx! 6/
